    IRMA
    they told us we better prepare for the worst
    this hurricane would be one of histories first
    first to rip through us with winds of record speeds
    but i quickly realized you cant believe everything you read
    they put the state of fl on emergency lock down
    they said there would be floods all throughout the town
    so everyone quickly started to  panic
    it got even worse once we all lost our electric
    as the winds and rain started to increase
    so did the bad news with every news release
    but we decided to ride it out anyway, with just us two
    we stayed cozy in our trailer on houston avenue
    they said mobile homes would be completely destroyed
    I swear they just said it so we would all be paranoid
    because as you can see we are still alive
    we made it through the hurricane of the centry, and we did survive
    I now believe the news isn't always true
    but don't take my word form your own point of view

    the weather men need their moment to shine. oh to have a job that has every one is awaiting your ruling knowing all along that you are most likely wrong. It is gonna snow.

    My wood shack made it out here in the woods on private property.... I'm glad you and yours made it... many blessings... I didn't stay in it but was happy to come back to it

    Good write. I live in sc, where irma was said to hit and I love how you challenge the media.
