How?
How do a people destroy the mother earth?
Birds do not burn their nests.
Ants don't raze their mounds.
Bees do not kill their queen or stop making honey.
The hive is a collective work of art.
They strive together at success.
As one, none a separate part.
It is no stretch of the imagination to define.
We must change our selfish ways.
Or we shall certainly all die.
For our Mother earth has been ravaged.
She kneels now bloody, on her knees.
Won't someone show some mercy and
call an ambulance for her please?
Let's change our ways today.
Or for certain, die tomorrow.
God gave us this planet to oversee.
Stewardship is a responsibility.
Not something to throw away.
We cannot recycle our home.
Can what we've wrought be undone?
We can only change and pray.
