Brother
A man I barely know. Looking at you
is to look in a mirror almost.
Same father. Different mother.
Yet brothers.
My brother who lives across the sea.
I wish that I could change our destinies.
I often wish so many things.
To turn back time and change our pasts.
So that you might be at my side.
I wonder if you wish for that too.
Somewhere deep inside.
Your face is strong. Jaw like rock.
Countenance just like dad.
Come to think of it we look the same.
You incorrigible, handsome lad.
I miss you and pray that you are well.
Keeping you in my thoughts.
Always....
