    Poem Commentary

I so love Halloween and giving out candy.

    Ghosties and Goblins

Ghosties and Goblins walk the street
    Witches are seen in flight.
    Jack-O-Lanterns light the way
    on Halloween night.

Paint your face, freak your hair,
    put on scary cloths.
Who we are or where we're from,
    no body knows.

Ghosties and Goblins walk the street
with demons, and devils, and hags,
Moving slowly from house to house
    filling their candy bags.

We'll knock on the neighbors door
    He will tremble, She'll retreat,
    as Ghosties and Goblins
    cry "TRICK OR TREAT".

Very nice description of Halloween night and the creatures that roam the night.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
