Five minutes outside of Hell
Grief, frustration, love and hate
have all laid here.
I have released weights, heavy
deadly, full of despair.
I lied to you, while looking at your soul.
I intended you dead with torments untold.
I refuse your forgiveness,
The blame is all mine.
Naught can save me, not them,
not you, only the devine.
Common emotions, worn like an everyday gem.
Turning you away,I cut you off root to stem.
Running, screaming, tearing my eyes out,
Seeking relief from the trigger.
Unable to draw strength,
Unable still to dig deeper.
Unable to love me, a matter dim, once bright.
Dont judge me, you have lost all right.
A cool wind picks up the heat
from the pavement.
Filled on empty thoughts,
Sauntering feet, my lone movement.
A false peace settles across dry bones,
making a home to hearts-turn-stones...
have all laid here.
I have released weights, heavy
deadly, full of despair.
I lied to you, while looking at your soul.
I intended you dead with torments untold.
I refuse your forgiveness,
The blame is all mine.
Naught can save me, not them,
not you, only the devine.
Common emotions, worn like an everyday gem.
Turning you away,I cut you off root to stem.
Running, screaming, tearing my eyes out,
Seeking relief from the trigger.
Unable to draw strength,
Unable still to dig deeper.
Unable to love me, a matter dim, once bright.
Dont judge me, you have lost all right.
A cool wind picks up the heat
from the pavement.
Filled on empty thoughts,
Sauntering feet, my lone movement.
A false peace settles across dry bones,
making a home to hearts-turn-stones...
