Dreamers Dreaming
What in this life is fair,And who in this world cares?
What is the use in trying
When the world around us is dying?
If there is a reason for everything,
What is the reason for what's happening?
Wh does one sing while another one cries?
Why does one laugh while another one sighs?
The cost of happiness is always pain
Yet too many times it's all in vain.
To be secure requires a friend
But too few work toward that end.
No justice, no reward for penance,
No reasonable cause for human existence.
The things that occur day to day
Slowly are taking all hope away.
Reality is insane, insanity is bizarre,
But who really knows what they are?
So much time is spent in wishing,
Dreamers dreaming, minds gone fishing.
Unwilling to cope with life so unfair,
And who in this world cares?
