    Your heart doesn’t belong
    To me
    Nor do you hold
    My heart’s key

    It took me too long
    To realize
    That which was right
    Before my eyes

    Your heart’s not mine
    But to me your soul is true
    Friendship runs deeper than love
    And there is no deeper than you

    Why does friendship run deeper than love? Is not friendship, love? It's still love but a different kind. To realize that which was right before your eyes. Did you not know you were in love or did you just realize that you just wanted to be friends? What's the conclusion?
