I am not the Mayflower, Pinta, or Santa Maria. I am no ship, no "African Queen". I am an African Goddess. That would be Mother Africa, Mother Nature, America the Beautiful, and Lady Liberty. I am an African Goddess.Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
