Deceased by His Greed
It doesn’t happen everyday
So much love just strays away
I’m caught between my words and the world
There’s no balance to fit my sorrows
But I can’t pretend there’s no tomorrow
When there are no emotions I can borrow
I’m lost in the sound of music we both love
Some day I’ll find you so high above
The grass, the trees, the skyline, the clouds
In dreams I’ll find you talking loud
You’ll tell me you’ve been there all along
Standing, waiting, and hearing our songs
Play over and over
Until one day you found an image
While searching through your brain
That you knew could never be the same
If you didn’t have the real thing
So you had to bring me up
Lay death upon me with your stares
I’m here but still always there
In limbo and there’s no balance
No balance to fit my sorrows
And now there is no more tomorrow
Lifeless with no emotions to borrow
So much love just strays away
I’m caught between my words and the world
There’s no balance to fit my sorrows
But I can’t pretend there’s no tomorrow
When there are no emotions I can borrow
I’m lost in the sound of music we both love
Some day I’ll find you so high above
The grass, the trees, the skyline, the clouds
In dreams I’ll find you talking loud
You’ll tell me you’ve been there all along
Standing, waiting, and hearing our songs
Play over and over
Until one day you found an image
While searching through your brain
That you knew could never be the same
If you didn’t have the real thing
So you had to bring me up
Lay death upon me with your stares
I’m here but still always there
In limbo and there’s no balance
No balance to fit my sorrows
And now there is no more tomorrow
Lifeless with no emotions to borrow
