Bondage for all
Bondage for all
Pain; yes, but that is where it starts, pain
I hear giving birth is pain
Gall stones are pain
To be shot stabbed that is pain
I wish I had only pain
I do not think there is a human word for it
No, you can only try to describe it
Unseen, unheard, undetectable from the out side
It isolates you, may take your sight and sound
No one can help, your all alone
You cannot run from it as you cannot run
So you try to fight while laying down
Take the meds your doctor gives and over the counter pills don’t be shy
It's still there inside your head
Caffeine, alcohol, still by my side
The war rages on, fight some more
Vomiting violently convulsed on the floor
Ice your brain; freeze your skull, so cold you can’t feel hell
You win you win relief is here, till then the cold it disappeared
The battles lost you give in, surrender, surrender but it does not give in
You pull at your hair to rip at its core
Scrap through the skull blood and tears your face a wreck filled with despair
You tried it all, there is nothing left, now you are desperate for it to end
The thing you feared the worst of all, violent to self just to end it all
So wall meets head then the floor, still can stand so once more
Harder, faster, again and again
White, weightless calm, you hit the floor
Does it end here?
Perhaps
Then again; it may be angered when you wake from your nap
Does it, or this; have a name you can call
Demon, monster, hell, yes to some
Migraine
they call it
Bondage for all!
