An evening interlude
As the haze of lust twirls in the air
She was sitting pretty, combing her hair
The maiden was delicate so pretty and fair
The beauty she owns, she keeps in good care
Some days she does this all on her own
But tonight she does this not all alone
Her desires await for her all will be shone
A tilt of her head as she sets down her comb
The rings on her fingers, reminder of things past
Wondering if there will be another that will last
Her passion and spirit to him she will cast
The delicate unraveling, slow and not fast
A song plays in her mind so vivid and clear
The touch of a lover, someone to be near
Her skin is on fire with such joy and such fear
The want she will lead, toward him she will steer
Glances back at the memories that sit on her shelf
Her mind adjusts but her body still melts
A last moment’s breath she takes by herself
This is the night of pure sexual wealth
Tonight the body will no more closet lies
Irresistible temptation with no compromise
Curiosity and question, how quickly each dies
This is the woman whom I see with my eyes
