UNEDITED THOUGHTS
UNEDITED THOUGHTS
April 21 ‘02
Fifteen years ago, I married a man
whom I thought was my knight in shining armor.
He was good in telling me how much he loves
and how much he appreciates having me
there beside him for the rest of his life…
Sadly it turned out to be..
I became HIS knight in shining armor;
I fought all the battles
That came our way –
By myself.
Fifteen years in a row
I held the reins steadily
To keep our chariot running smoothly.
But the reins, they were so heavy;
I had to let go; too much load,
And too much rust., -him.
I had to take the rust off, to keep the chariot moving.
For move on we must,
To reach our destination.
But the chariot is still quite heavy
And the travel terribly lonesome.
With no one to hold the reins with,
It was a bizarre struggle with life.
Now I’m still holding on to the reins
‘til my arms ache and
my hands turn bloody.
For move on I must;
The journey is still long and arduous.
But my cargo holds a lot of promise.
Tiny seeds though they are now;
Soon they’ll be giant trees of the earth!
They inspire me to move on;
No time to be wasted.
Today my plight is still uncertain;
But the sun… it shines brightly for me.
The road, though rocky,
Has beautiful fields alongside.
The amazing sight eases my burden;
Makes me giddy with delight !
And the seeds, ahh!!! They captivate my heart so much.
They lovingly look at me
With trust in their eyes;
They’ll be fondly taken cared of…’cause
I’m their MOM in shining armor !!!
