    LOVE IS CUPID

    LOVE IS CUPID
(my first poem at age 9, 1972)

    Oh Cupid's bow and arrow,
Don't shoot me full of sorrow.
But give me love to borrow,
And lead not to the path so narrow.

    God gave love to share,
    To spread and to spare.
    He gave love to scare
    The evils who always stare!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
