Transform, Transpose, Transfigure
Your sweet spirit speaks volumes, surpassing that of my own voice
Making a joyful noise in my soul
My soul longs to be, be everything that is required of the Master
Trembling in fear of what is or isn’t and what is yet to come
Yet You come anyhow, despite all that is myself
Bringing your fullness, joy, and love, which makes me hopeful
Hopeful that my labor isn’t in vain because the workings of my life you have ordained
I relish the passing of each moment with the newness of life
The life-giving essence of yourself, which you gave in the beginning
Embracing the fire, which brings warmth and comfort
Rejecting the cold and bitter distress of the darkness
Majesty comes to mind when I meditate on you
Reigning in supreme power ,yet with the subtleness, sincerity, and splendor of a loving father
I can’t help but shout “Holy, holy, holy, Lord of all”
For you are truly the Lord of all,
My temporary inconveniences are but only for my permanent improvement, that I know
To grow is to change so change me God
Lord make me over, over and over
Mold me into the mighty Warrior for Christ that I was created to be
I was created to serve, to please and be pleasing in your eyesight
I’m desperate for you
I’m lost without you
My frustrations tend to consume me, leading me straight to anger, rage and bitterness
A path traveled by many, who give over to the likes of the world, “Self” and Satan
Glory be to God that the light of life guided me through the darkness
Back into the presence of you and your Blessed Trinity
For it is apparent that you are all powerful and I am admittedly powerless
The power that comes from within me, derives from you
You allow me to tap in and receive as much as I need, day or night
So now I fall prostrate before you, declaring that I am yours
Your will, your way
I trust and believe everything that you have to say to me
I give to you my heart, my soul, time and life
Understanding that it was yours all along
Transform my fears into faith
Transpose my pressure into praise
Transfigure…
