Things I'd Never Tell You Matter the Most
There are things
I won’t miss
Many things I won’t miss
And if you ever read this
You’ll know what I’m talking about
Jennie’s grandma
Yeah
That fucking sucked
And you know what
I’d probably be worse off now
If you weren’t scared of what she’d say
I’m not going to apologize for
Hating parts of our relationship
And you know what
I have very respect for you
Didn’t you always teach me
That guys who
Beat up on me just because
They were bigger
Weren’t worth my time
Well that’s one of the truest things
You’ve ever said
And it sucks that
This is one of the things I
Want to tell you
Instead of
Talking about
All the good times
I wanted to
Make sure you knew
How much I
Hate being so helpless
I will never let a guy do that to me
Never again
I respect myself more than that
But that’s not the only thing I want to say
I also want to tell you that
Despite all of the crap you put me through
You taught me a lot
And I’m not just talking about
How to avoid your abusive father
But I do appreciate
The sense of humor
And the fun times
Playing DDR
And whooping your butt
Figuratively speaking
And trying to beat you
At ping-pong
And failing miserably
Dancing crazy
To crazy old music
And the long talks we used to have
Before I started talking about boys
And girly type things
The good old days
That were alright…ish
So I hope this makes you think
But
I
Love
You
And I hope our relationship
Gets much better
I won’t miss
Many things I won’t miss
And if you ever read this
You’ll know what I’m talking about
Jennie’s grandma
