    the key

Why do you lock me up
    With no means of escape
    No key to the lock
This maze is way too long
    Too confusing (up and down)
    Looking everywhere for a route
    Going crazy, maybe insane
Don’t know why, just that way
No light to guide the way
If I find a way out
    Will you let me go
    Will you let me choose
    The path that I want
Or will you lock me up again

Like the idea you worked with here! It can suck when someone else holds the only key...

Don't we all just want to do what we want? I wish we could. But sometimes life isn't that simple... A great write. Shows a lot of emotion and colorful images in the mind. Thank you for sharing.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
