The Hidden Message
Came home from school no homework to doJust got off my school bus number 202
So here I am now sitting in my room
Tired, bored don't know what to do
I look out my window right up at the sky
Watching closely as the clouds roll by
I count the birds two, four, six, eight
They're flying in many different shapes
I lay on my bed and stare at the ceiling
Observing it slowly as I find it's peeling
I stand on my bed and jump up to touch it
Right off it comes as if like a rocket
Small pieces at first as they all start to fall
Scrape some off the ceiling and then off the wall
Impressed I am looking at not only white
But black, blue and purple that were painted real light
But what caught my eye most was in big green letters
They say "Do Not Give Up, For Life Will Get Better!"
