social mask

Mistakes I've made have haunted me

all these many years

I wish for all the lives I've touched

I made more smiles than tears

I'm afraid I'll find myself

alone in days to come

For somewhere in my early youth

I made my feelings numb

Oh to feel, or to cry

this is all I ask

Let me know these things once more

and lose this social mask
