Ripples In The Water
We as stones dropped
Among these myriad of lives
Are but ripples in the water.
Our waves emanate ever outward,
An influence with the mighty power
Of any hurricane that stirs upon the ocean.
Every tide that moves,
Intertwines, and redirects
Out and away from us,
Transforms a navigational
Needle and path
In minor or major degrees
At the very instant of our contact.
By this law we are bound
To be the gentle nudge,
Or the stern southern wind
That assists in moving
All vessels we touch,
By way of our current
Ever closer towards reaching
Their own divine shore
Among these myriad of lives
Are but ripples in the water.
Our waves emanate ever outward,
An influence with the mighty power
Of any hurricane that stirs upon the ocean.
Every tide that moves,
Intertwines, and redirects
Out and away from us,
Transforms a navigational
Needle and path
In minor or major degrees
At the very instant of our contact.
By this law we are bound
To be the gentle nudge,
Or the stern southern wind
That assists in moving
All vessels we touch,
By way of our current
Ever closer towards reaching
Their own divine shore
