raisin pie
to our house he camefor thanksgiving
with his family
to be with our family.
a blessed and learned
experience for me.
a joyous humble man
he appeared to be.
we ate our blessings with love,
and laughter.
he loved the raisin pie
that came after.
this joyous man so brave,
so rare. was dying;but
he did not care.
and we did not know.
he wanted one more
thanksgiving with his loved ones.
ITS thanksgiving time again
but tommy has gone on
to be with el padiah to eat his raisin pie
