"Blinded by birth"
December 27th 4:21pm, my fight with life began. With one lung and weak breathing I had two blood tranfusions within twenty four hours of my life taken course. Little did I know I would be left with a devastating ailment the rest of my life. Blinded by birth I became partially blind in my right eye. Only shadows lurked through the faint visions of my retina, as my mother fought for her life I fought for my own. How could a miracle baby become blinded by birth? As I grew I would learn to cope with adversities and obstacles only one cold imagine, like fashion I made it a trend deep within to fight through it. I was blinded by birth but I can see clearly that i can be all I can be."Blinded by birth"

- Wow, deep and personally meanful, (I was a premmie w/ health problems too). This is a 10 in my book. I will be back to check out more of your work; I dont like to clutter my mind up w/ too much poetry all at once, I like to think on what I read. Peace be with you...
