My Sunset
Such are the colors of my sunset.
My clouds, the color of sweet magenta.
Against my golden, orange, and red sun.
My sky, a mixture of blue, purple, and crimson.
The picture of peace.
The painting of tranquility.
My trees, silhouetted against the sky.
Black and brown bodies, arms and hands lifted.
Stretched out in praise for their life.
To everything in its place.
My air, warm with comfort.
But cool with the crisp touch of love.
Such are the physical ties of my sunset.
Beyond a measure of beauty.
Beyond a ray of hope.
Extending out into all eternity.
The universe stretched forth its forever,
As I stare into the aspects of my sunset.
