Lonely
The silence fills the air,Leaving me alone and bare,
I reach out to touch you,
Like I always do,
But only now there is an empty space,
A reminder of the silence of this lonely place,
You have left me for another,
You must have forgotten I was your lover,
So now I lay in this bed made for two,
Feeling so hopeless and blue,
I guess I can try to sleep tonight,
Only to dream about what I could have done to make this right.
My body is motionless,
While my mind is nothing but stress,
Is this reality the nightmare,
When I wake you will still be there?
