Loneliness
Crying, curled up in knots
Searching for finder's keep
Wanting forever true
Staying, waiting always
Crying, trying to not
Floundering and failing---
while you swim through my past
Stopping never to ask
Crying, weeping willow
Dreaming, being with you
in the world's other side
You claim I hold too tight---
alright
I have grown used to
Loving, hugging my pillow
1989
Searching for finder's keep
Wanting forever true
Staying, waiting always
Crying, trying to not
Floundering and failing---
while you swim through my past
Stopping never to ask
Crying, weeping willow
Dreaming, being with you
in the world's other side
You claim I hold too tight---
alright
I have grown used to
Loving, hugging my pillow
1989
