Laugh when you hear you can’t

Laugh when they tell you that you’ll fail

Laugh when they say you’ll never make it

Laugh if you succeed

And laugh HARDER if you fail

Because At least you had the balls to try

AND THAT’S MORE THAN I CAN SAY ABOUT MOST PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD

Who had it in them to fight but didn’t

WHO HAD IT IN THEM TO GO FOR IT but refused to move

THEY WERE DEAD when they quit

This was years before their bodies hit that grave

They gave up and their hearts gave way

DON’T BE LIKE THEM

Because giving up is its own form of suicide

EVEN IF YOU FAIL ALL YOUR LIFE

You’ll go to your final resting place feeling more alive than most

Because at least you tried

Don’t listen when they say you can’t, you’ll never make it

BECAUSE IF YOU GIVE IN to the cries of people who failed to try

You’ll be giving up your dreams, AND YOUR HEART WILL GIVE WAY

And You’ll be dead long before your body hits that grave
