I wish

That they will have more smiles than frowns in their lives

That they will let the past remain just that

That if they ever feel the need to cry

Let someone finally be there

For them to live through every heartbreak

And to realize that one day it will fade, that ache

I wish That they will look back on our childhood

And not feel the unshed tears

with that sad longing smile on their face

That I have worn my entire life

And for them to know an ending

Doesn’t have to be more than they can take

That they will never be bitter

For them to understand letting go is not as hard as it seems

That no matter what happens they’ll always remember

They will always believe

That the laughter though now silent

We will always hear it in our dreams

For them to always know that it was never goodbye for me

That every star I saw I just wished to be happy

And that they were never far from thoughts

For all the moments that made me truly smile

That they would be aware

That I never forgot

And I hope they never remember to forget

That I had wished that their dreams did come true

That they see I always wanted them to

Let them know that though forever has come to pass

And though distance keep us apart

Never in memories

Not in my heart
