    Shadowed by the moon,
    two hearts
    reveal truth...
    trip-the-light-fantastic...
    and fade,
    solemnly,
    back to the
    tormented animation
    from whence they came.
    The greatest damage;
    cognition:
    verity can never
    gain ground
    for what was fated
    a heavy-laden heart...
    inscribed by
    two broken souls.

    I think I realize why I like your poetry so much now after this poem. I can relate to this one if its referring to what I think it is. If so, than it goes without saying. If not than nevermind. I really enjoyed this one. =)

    Thanks Dusty. This is one of my "trying to come out of the block" pieces. I'm glad you liked it. :o)

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
