Dream No More
Dream no more
my darling dear
Lean against the shoulder
of my sin
take me in.
I am but a mere thought
but as real,I can be,
as you want.
Give lips to me,
please do not taunt.
The land that lies
beyond the sea
is but a fantasy
but tangible enough
it is
for dreamers such as we.
Oh! sweet visibility
lies abroad for you.
I only hope it to be true
this dream of mine is on cue.
Darling, can't you
hear me screaming?
As my throat quakes
and haggard lungs ache
just answer once
so lips will seal
the kiss that we
both wish was real
