I won’t tell you of all the times
I thought of you today
that’s only for my heart to know
I won’t tell you of all the tears
I spilled
no need to sadden you
You came unexpected into my life
and held my heart again
I have no right to you
I have no right to your love
I tell myself to change my feelings
my heart’s not listening
I will carry my love for you
within me
and be the best friend
you’ve ever had
I won’t tell you anymore
how I love you
