I miss you
,and page after pagereading those lines
with your handwriting engraved inside of my mind
telling stories of memories we had together, and
the promises we made of staying together, forever
The laughs and the smiles
that always lit up our faces
were also in company with some frowns and dark places, and
when the silence was deafening
those moments said everything, that we couldn't say
Honestly I miss those days
Where the only thing that made me smile was seeing your face, and
how we always knew how the other felt underneath all the pain
Honestly I miss how you make me feel like singing out loud
When the smell of your perfume put my head in the clouds, and
though it’s not about our feelings, girl, you know they have there place, and
Honestly I miss how it used to be
When it was You and Me
