    Humiliation

    The look
    in their eyes
    is known to me;
    It comes after
    they look at you,
    followed by
    shock
    when they
    look at me,
    then the
    wonderment
    of why?
    why me,
    when you could
    enjoy any one
    of them.

eye of the beholder and all that......take five min and look at your self through his loving eyes and you may see a far different woman than the one you see in your minds eye.........but this is a powerful poems that says much more than what is written here....it speaks to me clearly because i know how it feel to be born big.....

Jaycee, the inner beauty will always prevail against the outer one :)) If you like poetry, you are automatically BEAUTIFUL! ;) You managed to compose a short piece with a powerful content. Great job!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
