    hearts

You hold my heart in the palm of your hand,
    Ever so gently and sweet.
You hold it to your own
    And yours reflects my heartbeat.

    We go together like pb&j
    and stick together like  glue.
Because of your gentle demeanor and sweetness,
I feel like a princess when I am with you

Your heartbeat tells me I'm special,
Mine says you are the one,
Yours says we are no longer seperate,
but in fact have become someone.

    You are funny and sweet,
    kind and compassionate,
there's noone I've known quite like you.

I love how you love me,
    and listen and hold me
and take time to really care,
    helping me think things through,
It seems you have always been there.

So although this poem doesn't quite rhyme,
And the tempo is off by a beat,
    I still want to say,
You are my sunshine and my heat....
And the only one that can sweep me off my feet.
