God was my defense
I was concerned about the way I thought, but noone seemed to careThe world rejected all of me including what I'd wear
The way I summed up problems and the choices that I made
It seperated me from you because I did things my way
Regardless of how big your were or the trouble you may bring
I would not submit to you or give you anything
Deep inside my soul and spirit is where I stored my strength
Holding onto Gods promises was solely my defense
