RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.Yeah, Dahlusion ! I second the moot! My best hat off to you!. My question? What inspired Papapaczski to launch the idea of an Original Poetry site? Last edited by cousinsoren 10-13-2010 at 04:43:22 PM |

Papa, I understand, denies that credit is due to him for initiating the creation of the site.? Then who did? History cannot be absolutely credible if questions of first cause are not answered,. We have enough problems with the mystery of the origin of the world and of Man.Let there be no mystery when facts can be found. Last edited by cousinsoren 10-13-2010 at 08:55:41 PM |

RE: RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.Hey Everyone, |
|
RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. How does the contest work? Is it purely by user votes? Is there a group that screens the poems? |
|
RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.i think this is a fantastic idea... to give people inisight into our community from it humble beginnings... |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. This is such a cool idea... thanks dah! |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.Good idea. Question? |
|
RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.HI everyone. I have been a member since April 2009. I personally liked the site then. I still like it now but with all things change comes. Now for a question.... |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. What year was the first year for OP? Is there a date of birth? Last edited by cousinsoren 10-15-2010 at 10:00:21 AM |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. The original OP Home page was …well… quite original and comforting with its feather pen/down home/ warm look. Last edited by dahlusion 10-14-2010 at 05:17:02 PM |

I recanted some time after, but even then I voiced my disapproval. |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. Can non poets come to the site to read the poetry? |

China is Copying and Pasting the whole site as we speak but we are not able to see their websites.. So yes the world can read us all and they do. Madelynn got her hair done, and was talking poetry and her dresser, mentioned OP, and the dresser knew Maddis poetry, and mine, and Dahs. Last edited by WordSlinger 10-14-2010 at 07:26:59 PM |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. The site had some disgruntled members in the beginning, they left, I miss some of them. The contests are still confusing to most. The magazine, good idea. How have the poets who made the first book done on the split profit side of things. The book was nicely done. The site has grown greatly, how did that happen so fast? How can we help so many inactive poets become more for us and themselves? Great site, the best k |

I know when the original OP home page changed i had a problem for awhile adjusting to the changed page. i know that some other poets had problems with this as well. i cant remember their names now. but i miss the original homepage. |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. This is an amazing site, par none. OP is a virtual Poet’s Society of many of the best modern poets in the English speaking world. Besides being read by the Chinese world and perhaps a billion new readers I am wondering what are the future plans, directions and goals of OP? Love, peace and freedom, Olan. |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.Like the rest of you I love OP! I have participated in other blog sites, but this one won my heart. I used to write poetry back in High School, in fact the yearbook called me the "Poet Laurette" of our school. But after serving in Vietnam I sort of lost touch with that part of me. |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years.So... How does OP fit in with the other online poetry sites? Last edited by gmcookie 10-14-2010 at 11:28:25 PM |

As members of OP, lets help them with this by asking questions for them to get started in writing this story. I will start: 1 — Where did the idea of Original Poetry come from? Its conception? 2 — How did OP and FaceBook come to partner? Your Post Will Be Deleted IF You Post Anything Other Than Questions To OP About Its History. |

RE: The History Of Original Poetry's First Two Years. In response to dah's invitation to comment on this Forum thread, I just want to say how much I enjoy this site, have come to depend on it, intellectually, and where I hope it goes as it heads into its next two years. |
Poetry is what is lost in translation.
