    daybreak on the bayou

mist rises above cypress knees--waterbugs dance a silent ballet--sunlight prisms thru the trees---bringing pentinent moss aglow--logs sprawl as if discarded by giants--while fish patrol  the waters edge--birds in the canopy above sing praises of purity and light---at daybreak on the bayou
