Dark Ascension
Run away, so far away from unescapable evil, a darkness flowing through the mind like rivers of blood spilt from a sing slit throat. A darkness, always there, forcing a soul through a world of hatred and pain. It never falls, for it must first rise unto a lighted sky and darken it eternally. It never leaves, it corrupts the soul, tortures it over a senseless lie, a useless truth. An everlasting fear, shadowing a yearning for death, desperation for truth never found. Dull the blade, numb the pain, resist the dark temptations. Another attempt to escape, another stab in the back, the creation of a still scream. Walk upon the path of slander as a shadow, a spirit strayed from its dark destiny ascending. Bury the shame and embrace the gift of death granted while living the light of dark stamped upon the beating heart, a black hole of confusing bliss, and listen to the eternal purrs of a blackened sky. Disbelief is a release from anger and hate without light, all shun out from a clouded mind screaming thoughts and untrue feelings of love and hate. Run away, away from it all, so far away from everything. From ember to ash, from grey to black, from crumbled ground to splitting sounds of rage, and a deceiving truth unmasked. A vain attempt to get away from the darkness all around, but before it falls, it must first rise, as it consumes everything, buries the soul in broken ground alive. Run away, so far away from unescapable dark.
