Aug. 2nd. 2009
The wind blew hard against his cheek. Now is the time he feels the most weak.
Incorporated in his death, the walls
of his mind, as he draws his last breath.
Trees bend down to bid a due.
As though in God’s hand an angels cue.
Washed away the sins of his father.
As he falls deeply farther. A loathsome
anger welling higher.
The decision all the more dire.
To count his vengeance, towards his nemesis
the culprit, he continues to miss.
