Going home
The angels have been summonedAnd given their mission
To bring home an angel
Whose prayers have been heard
Sick for a while
With no cure in sight
She Reade's herself
For the trip of her life
Angels now surround her
During the night
One cuddles her, one sings
One prays it is almost time
Her family around her
With tears in their eyes
Hear the dreaded words
She is fading say your good byes
Angels are singing louder and louder
Surrounding this soul that will
Find joy in an hour
The angels singing turn into cries
They can not help but cry for
Those left behind
The family cries louder
Monitors beeping counting
Down the hour in an instant
It is over medicine lost it's power
Angels take flight with a beautiful soul
She is smiling and dancing
Pain she feels no more
The light oh so bright
Lights the path back home
Family and friends in the past
She had known stand there clapping
Welcoming her home
Her journey is over she will now rest
The Angels are summoned
And given their mission
To bring home an angels
Whose prayer have been heard
