    I was delivered from Alcohol in 1986. 24 Years SOBER!!!!

    Alcoholic's Prayer
    Dear Lord, help me make it
    Through another sober day.
    Should I come to close to drink,
    Lord, guide my steps away.
    Help me to see my problems
    Are not as bad as I think.
    Lord, take away the urge
    When I am tempted to drink.
    Lord, I ask you save me
    From alcohol's foul snare.
    Dear Lord, have mercy and hear
    This Alcoholic's Prayer.

    An Awesome prayer indeed, I'm sure so many can relate to this. I am not an alcoholic - but I've loved and known many who could benefit from this poem. Great Job! :) Ken
