Addictions
In this life… addiction is what I got
Obsession is controlling my mind
I try to get rid of things that take over my heart
After so many tears I wasted before
After so many nights I spent being all alone
After this time, while I hate myself
Fighting to find what I’ve lost
And trying to escape from my own hell…
Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
