You had a desperate look in your eyes
You had a desperate
look in your eyes,
not vicious but an appetite,
maybe a hunger for love,
look in your eyes,
not vicious but an appetite,
maybe a hunger for love,
Your deep blue eyes,
big and round like a little ocean,
full of strength and peacefulness,
and the tenderness cadence
of your voice,
Lite as a cotton ball,
soft like the touch of kisses,
when you surprised me in my kitchen,
You seem you had more to tell,
but you feared of what I might say,
what was your need?,
what was your dream? I wanted to know,
what is destiny?
but what we make of it.
I fear as you fear,
what will be, who will say the first words
to begin a love story.
I saw you like a rose,
you carried infinite tenderness,
you were always at peace,
you carried infinite tenderness,
you were always at peace,
Like nakedness, like the breeze of silence,
and I felt like a sinking ship.
not knowing how to cry for help,
All I wanted was your precious presence,
your hand to hold my hand,
anything that love holds,
I wait for the ship that
carries you, for the waves of your peace,
just hoping you will see through
my eyes as I see through yours.
carries you, for the waves of your peace,
just hoping you will see through
my eyes as I see through yours.
