    Poem Commentary

unrequieted love, you've felt it, right?

    Words Unheard

You may see me every day
But you don't hear the words i say
I watch you as you walk away
But never could i tell you.

The words i hide burn like a flame
But every story's just the same
    Eternity is put to shame
By what i couldn't tell you.

    A laugh, a hug, a simple smile
Makes my whole life seem worth while
For you, i'd walk a hundred miles
But never will i tell you

Now we're old, and time has left
and with it took a single theft
So long without you, i'm bereft
perhaps i should have told you...

Now i write this earthly tomb,
your friendship's been my only home
and in some ways, i've always shown
indeed, just that i love you. .

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
