    Why

Why did I have to go against my parents?
They only wanted what's best for me.
They did everything they could for me.
Why did I have to lie?
    It didn't get me far.
I could have done better by telling the truth.
Why did I have to fall in love?
    I was taken off guard
and fell for her faster than I thought I would.
Why did I have to take her out tonight?
We were planning this for weeks
and I had everything planned out.
Why did I have to stop?
I was low on gas and needed to stop.
    She went in to pay.
Why did it have to be her?
    My worst fear had come.
I ran in to stop him but he shot her any way.
Why did this have to happen?
The guy wanted money and she got in the way.
I fought with him and shot him with his gun.
Why did I have to be in this situation?
I looked down at the gun in my bloody hands
and knew my life was over without her.
Why does it have to end like this?
I lift the gun and look at it closer.
I stare down the barrel and squeeze the trigger.

forgotten apparitions leave a sour taste in all of our mouth's... The diagnosis is left for all of us to conjure, so I conjure a sense of two selve's, deceiding on which one shall be victorious...

    wooo! nice

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
