Why Say It's Better This Way?
Beautiful as a blossom bloom.
Noon sparkling like the midnight gloom.
So strong! So loving! I can't believe I'm left without you.
Sad as I feel deep in my heart and soul.
Knowing your not there to hold me close.
Crying is a task I'll never show.
Someday time will turn a new page,
And life will be a better place.
Sometimes it's better to leave what we feel the most, and love without grace.
So why say it's better this way:
When you close the doors and never embrace?
One of these days well find the truth,
And encounter the pain we've never faced.
Why turn a new page to life,
When we've never said goodbye?
But why wait to share what you feel deep inside?
My tears already fell down the mountain side, and rolled into the bottom of time.
Pain would've been a lesson learned.
If you could've taken my tears and made them apart of your life?
