Who is Me?
Have you ever walked around through your townAnd ask yourself who you really are?
Take a guess, sit right back down,
I know it's tough, so stand right up & look afar.
I never wanted to be beautiful,
I just wanted to be me.
If you have problems of who I am,
Then I guess we are through, now.
You're backing down, & you are falling apart,
What ever happened to the good old days?
When we were kids racing on shopping carts,
And making sand castles on the beach by the bay.
I never wanted to be beautiful,
I just wanted to be me.
If you have problems of who I am,
Then I guess we are through, now.
As the time is going by, can you see,
The air is growing older, you're getting tired.
Sooner or later you'll be asking who is me?
By then it's too late, your life has expired.
So can you see, who is me,
I just wanted to be different.
I won't lie, even if I try,
I just want to go back in time.
I never wanted to be beautiful,
I just wanted to be me.
If you have problems of who I am,
Then I guess your wish has come true.
