Understanding Love
Behind the surface of my standing walls,Our connection together beats as it falls.
Blindly loathing the features of our hearts.
Sparking the energy from the very start.
Giving up the very things of my unvital life.
Living with you only, hoping you'll soon be my wife.
I finally take that step & I ask for your hand.
Your eyes begin to water there where you stand.
You kneel there in front of me, knowing no reason why.
You say that you're sorry, with a farewell goodbye.
I can't believe what happened, I thought I was who she loved.
I guess I have to thank you now, for now, I understand love.
I can't believe what happened, I thought I was who she loved.
I guess I have to thank you now, for now, I understand love.
