Weep not for me Mother
WEEP NOT FOR ME MOTHER
Your life has been lonely for the years that had past,
The tears that you shed alone set apart
So no one can tell what you feel in your heart.
Life for some brings happiness, other's pain.
But when death comes it’s always the same.
He rides a black horse garbed in flame.
No one sees his face but all know his name.
His touch is as soft as a young lover’s kiss,
Yet when wrapped in his arms people think death cruel.
Weep not for me Mother for tis they who play the fool.
