    Watering the Flame II

Living in the solitude of another's love.
Looking forth to the dying day,
so the pain will go away.
    Waiting for the day
    you fall into my arms,
    when I walk in
    from Heaven's door.
    Wild emotions, hysterical tears
    of happiness stream
    down your face
    and into my heart.
    Now, again, I
    ask for the water
    to ease the flame.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
