Upholy now
Grandma i know your happy in heaven and smiling down
Like when you tucked me in with a smile as i was laying down
But at times it was tuff cuz you gave me a frown
In cases of most times with no worries you erased my frown
I dont know what im going to miss more
You or your love plus things you lived for
What is it that we cherish in this life we adore
Looking for God when life is no more
They say the eyess are the window to the soul
For ever loved and forever behold
Saturdays with grandma, sundays for church
Memories on monday playing in the dirt
Once a member of love now a figure filled with hurt
No doubt how much ill miss you
If there was a grandmother magazine you were the golden issue
A wonderful woman died its a crying time of grieve
Wondering who loves me as i wipe tears off my sleeve
Your with God now so that means you've left me
I love you to death grandma may your soul rest in peace
May it travel the lightest road to heaven on the path of serenity
Not resting one step untill your at the montains peek
White hair, glasses, red lips, white teeth
Yellow flowers red cup on the porch drinking tea
Much heart chronic love telling me how you loved me
Just being my grandma, i listened to your heart as you hugged me
...Growing up adaptively...
I hope you had fun on the ride
Cause they'res nothing like a grandmother
At least no one that applies
Wishing i could go back at least to say goodbye
I cant so i reminisce as i wipe the last tears from my eye
