To Tell a Tale of Life... I Am Here
Crystallized creations condemned by nature
Lost in the vortex of a meaningless whisper
How can I name what is beyond nomenclature?
Plethora in questions without any answers
Convinced of a beauty yet to be dreamt
Deemed a fool by whom I once thought a friend
Beyond comprehension of a long forgotten trail
Traversing a road of long forgotten despair
Directions given but there’s no where to go
Promises made by the silent vows foretold
Weight bearing down like a dark repression
Depression, transgressions to comprehend
No comprehension, no understanding at all
How can I, with the weight of all that is lost?
Transcending through time, a sunset to create
Indescribable beauty, darkening until all can fade
A painting of life of the most perfect of detail
Conceived by a thought, idea, the seed of tales
Ancient by existence, newly created by thought
Futures foretold, changed by ourselves at what cost?
Instilled within me to carry my words, my burden
A battle to be fought for such a life I cannot defend
Life must end if ever the battle to cease, cannot be won
Know I am here as I always have been. Though you are gone
